﻿<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><e:AD-1.1 Number="AD 1.1" IsChapter="true" id="i14743" xmlns:e="http://www.eurocontrol.int/xmlns/AIM/eAIP"><e:Title id="i14747" LastDataDrivenCheck="638944654539697473" LastDataDrivenUpdate="638387495055169519" Updated="No" xml:space="preserve">AERODROME/HELIPORT AVAILABILITY AND CONDITIONS OF USE<x:br xml:space="preserve" id="i219140" Updated="No" xmlns:x="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" /></e:Title><e:Sub-section Number="AD 1.1.1" id="i93056" Updated="No" class="Body"><e:Title id="i93057" class="Title1" Updated="No" xml:space="preserve">GENERAL CONDITIONS</e:Title><x:p xml:space="preserve" id="i93059" Updated="No" class="Paragraph" xmlns:x="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">The Civil Aviation Department of Transport Competence Agency is responsible for aerodrome certification and maintenance of certified aerodromes (see <x:a id="i96329" Updated="No" LastDataDrivenCheck="638944654542387850" href="EY-GEN-1.1-en-US.html#i">GEN 1.1</x:a>). </x:p><x:p xml:space="preserve" id="i93061" Updated="No" class="Paragraph" xmlns:x="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Commercial flights are not permitted to take-off or land at any aerodrome not listed in this <e:Abbreviation Ref="i16300" Ident="AIP" Value="AIP" id="i96343" Updated="No" /> except in cases of real emergency.</x:p><x:p xml:space="preserve" id="i93063" Updated="No" class="Paragraph" xmlns:x="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">In addition to the international aerodromes available for public use listed in the AIP, a number of general aviation <e:Abbreviation Ref="i22383" Ident="VFR" Value="VFR" id="i96341" Updated="No" /> aerodromes are located throughout the country.</x:p><x:p xml:space="preserve" id="i93065" Updated="No" class="Paragraph" xmlns:x="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">These aerodromes are available for flights with prior coordination with the owner.</x:p><x:p xml:space="preserve" id="i93067" Updated="No" class="Paragraph" xmlns:x="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Details about general aviation aerodromes are available in the Aeronautical Information Publication for Visual Flights of the Republic of Lithuania which can be downloaded from company’s website <x:a href="urllink" id="i93069" Updated="No">www.ans.lt</x:a>.</x:p><e:Sub-section Number="1" id="i93087" Updated="No" class="Body"><e:Title id="i93088" class="Title10" Updated="No" xml:space="preserve">Landings made elsewhere than at an international aerodrome or a designated alternate aerodrome</e:Title><x:p xml:space="preserve" id="i93090" Updated="No" class="Paragraph" xmlns:x="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">If a landing is made elsewhere than at an international aerodrome or a designated alternate aerodrome the pilot-in-command shall report the landing as soon as practicable to the health, customs and immigration authorities at the international aerodrome at which the landing was scheduled to take place.<x:br xml:space="preserve" id="i96331" Updated="No" /><x:br xml:space="preserve" id="i96332" Updated="No" /> This notification may be made through any available communication link.</x:p><x:p xml:space="preserve" id="i93092" Updated="No" class="Paragraph" xmlns:x="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">The pilot in command shall be responsible for ensuring that:</x:p><x:ol xml:space="preserve" id="i93094" Updated="No" class="lia" xmlns:x="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><x:li xml:space="preserve" id="i93095" Updated="No" class="lia">if pratique has not been granted to the aircraft at the previous landing, contact between other persons on the one hand and passengers and crew on the other is avoided;</x:li><x:li xml:space="preserve" id="i93097" Updated="No" class="lia">cargo, baggage and mail are not removed from the aircraft except as provided below;</x:li><x:li xml:space="preserve" id="i93099" Updated="No" class="lia">any foodstuff of overseas origin, or any plant is not removed from the aircraft except where local food is unobtainable. All food refuse including peelings, cores, stones of fruit, etc., must be collected and returned to the galley refuse container, the contents of which should not be removed from the aircraft except for hygiene reasons, in which case it must be destroyed by burning or deep burial.<x:br xml:space="preserve" id="i93101" Updated="No" /></x:li></x:ol></e:Sub-section><e:Sub-section Number="2" id="i93115" Updated="No" class="Body"><e:Title id="i93116" class="Title1" Updated="No" xml:space="preserve">Traffic of persons and vehicles on aerodromes<x:br xml:space="preserve" id="i93118" Updated="No" xmlns:x="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" /></e:Title><e:Sub-section Number="2.1" id="i371497" Updated="No" class="Body"><e:Title id="i371498" class="Title1" Updated="No" xml:space="preserve">Zone demarcation</e:Title><x:p xml:space="preserve" id="i371500" Updated="No" class="Paragraph" xmlns:x="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">The grounds of each aerodrome are divided into two zones:</x:p><x:ol xml:space="preserve" id="i371502" Updated="No" class="lia" xmlns:x="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><x:li xml:space="preserve" id="i371503" Updated="No" class="lia">a public zone comprising the part of the aerodrome open to the public, and</x:li><x:li xml:space="preserve" id="i371505" Updated="No" class="lia">a restricted zone comprising the rest of the aerodrome.</x:li></x:ol></e:Sub-section><e:Sub-section Number="2.2" id="i371510" Updated="No" class="Body"><e:Title id="i371511" class="Title1" Updated="No" xml:space="preserve">Movement of persons</e:Title><x:p xml:space="preserve" id="i371516" Updated="No" class="ParagraphPrevParag" xmlns:x="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Access to the restricted zone is authorized only under conditions prescribed by special rules governing the aerodrome.</x:p><x:p xml:space="preserve" id="i371520" Updated="No" class="Paragraph" xmlns:x="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">The customs, police and health offices and the premises assigned to transit traffic are accessible only to passengers, to staff of the public authorities and airlines and to authorized persons in pursuit of their duty.</x:p><x:p xml:space="preserve" id="i371525" Updated="No" class="Paragraph" xmlns:x="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">The movement of persons having access to the restricted zone of the aerodrome is subject to the conditions prescribed by the air navigation regulations and by special rules established by the aerodrome administration.</x:p></e:Sub-section><e:Sub-section Number="2.3" id="i371530" Updated="No" class="Body"><e:Title id="i371531" class="Title1" Updated="No" xml:space="preserve">Movement of vehicles</e:Title><x:p xml:space="preserve" id="i371536" Updated="No" class="Paragraph" xmlns:x="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">The movement of vehicles in the restricted zone is strictly limited to vehicles driven or used by persons carrying a traffic permit or an official card of admittance.</x:p><x:p xml:space="preserve" id="i371541" Updated="No" class="Paragraph" xmlns:x="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Drivers of vehicles, of whatever type, driving within the confines of the aerodrome, must respect the direction of the traffic, the traffic signs and the posted speed limits and generally comply with the provisions of the highway code and with the instructions issued by the competent authorities.</x:p></e:Sub-section><e:Sub-section Number="2.4" id="i371548" Updated="No" class="Body"><e:Title id="i371549" class="Title1" Updated="No" xml:space="preserve">Policy</e:Title><x:p xml:space="preserve" id="i371551" Updated="No" class="Paragraph" xmlns:x="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">Care and protection of aircraft, vehicles, equipment and goods used at the aerodrome/heliport are not the responsibility of the State or any concessionaire;
