Simultaneous LLFs can be performed only in one or two of four Vilnius sectors (Vilnius, Kaunas, Šiauliai, Palanga (except over international waters)) and exclusively in the uncontrolled airspace of class „G“. Total duration of such flights shall not exceed 7 hours per day. LLFs shall be planned only on workdays: from sunrise till sunset, and on Fridays - from sunrise till 1200 (1100) . LLFs are allowed at altitudes from 500 FT to 2000 FT . Altimeter shall be set according to the pressure in an appropriate sector of Vilnius FIR. LLFs can be conducted at an IAS from 250 to 400 knots when visibility is 8 KM or more. LLFs at speed lower than 250 knots are conducted in accordance with the regulations.When LLFs temporarily take place in the controlled airspace, GAT regulations are applicable and crews shall comply with local procedures (speed regulation ref. Point 2.1.2 in effect).When LLFs are conducted in the uncontrolled airspace, crews shall contact the relevant provider, to inform on Start/End of specific flight in an appropriate Vilnius FIR sector.FIS provider shall provide all airspace users operating in the uncontrolled airspace of an appropriate Vilnius FIR sector with information about military aircraft performing LLF procedures.When aircraft conducting LLFs are departing from the controlled aerodrome and before entering the uncontrolled airspace, or entering the controlled airspace with intention to land at the controlled aerodrome, GAT regulations are applicable and crews shall contact an appropriate ATC unit and comply with local ATC procedures. Before entering the controlled airspace the LLF crew shall obtain a clearance from an appropriate ATC unit.LLF notification proceduresLLFs are subject to advance notification. Military Airspace Users (MIL AU) shall request LFF no later than 1100 on the last working day prior to LLF execution to LTU MIL . MIL AU shall fill LLF notification form and submit it to LTU MIL AMC by e-mail paraiskos.kop@mil.lt. LTU MIL AMC will deconflict all LLF requests and send LLF notification form to Civil AMC (Civil AMC function is performed by Air Traffic Management division at Oro navigacija) not later than 1200 LMT by e-mail amc@ans.lt.The information about planned LLFs is published by .LLFs notification is submitted for each flight separately.Restrictions for conducting LLFLLFs shall avoid:active s (the entrance to these areas must be coordinated and approved by airspace owners before conducting LLF in accordance to existing regulations/instructions); aerodrome traffic zones;traffic/flight information zones (the entrance to these areas must be coordinated and approved by airspace owners before conducting LLF in accordance to existing regulations/instructions); ornithological Reserves and Areas with sensitive fauna; paragliding and hang-glider towing places;other areas announced by NOTAMs.Descriptions of these areas are also given in the sections of Lithuanian AIP ENR 2. Available information about activity of these areas/zones is provided by an appropriate FIS provider and/or published at Airspace Restriction Information Bulletin and by NOTAM.LLFs cannot be performed below the lower limits of Vilnius „A“ sector, Kaunas TMA „A“ sector and Palanga TMA „1“ sector (exeption could be made for rotary wing only if rotary aircraft/formation can maintain at least 500 FT separation from lower sector boundaries of TMA, has operational transponder Mode A/C switched ON and can stay intentions to appropriate FIS sector via VHF radio before executing flight below TMA). Flights below other sectors of Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga TMAs shall be performed at levels not higher than the lower sector boundaries established from the MSL. Such flights can be performed only on of appropriate FIR sector.Flight plansLLF s are submitted at least 60 minutes prior to the planned flight.
